Dr. Arthur Chou Introduces San Gabriel Valley Designated Stroke Center

Dr. Arthur Chou is the Director of the Stroke Center at Garfield Medical Center. Dr. Chou took time to interact with visitors at our recent Stroke Awareness event. He stressed the importance of getting help as quickly as possible if there is even the slightest hint of a stroke. He informed visitors that Garfield Medical Center has been designated by the Joint Commission as a designated stroke center. This means that our hospital is recognized for having the clinical expertise and technology needed for prompt intervention at the first sign of a stroke.
