Garfield Medical Center will be holding a community event focused on STROKE AWARENESS. Hospital doctors and staff, as well as firefighters and paramedics from the Alhambra Fire Department, will give important information on the signs and symptoms of a stroke, as well as what immediate actions should be taken in the event of a stroke. Visitors will also learn about the state-of-the-art surgical procedures and amazing technology being employed by Garfield to treat strokes.
