Gold Level

For worksites that fulfill criteria such as offering employees physical activity support, increasing healthy eating options at work and promoting a wellness culture. Requirements for Gold level achievement are a minimum of 25 employees at the worksite, as well as implementing at least six of the physical activity criteria, two of the nutrition criteria and one of the culture criteria listed in the application form.

Garfield Medical Center's Wellness Team organizes numerous wellness activities for employees including:

AHMC Rehab Riders - cycling group
on-site employee gym

In addition, Garfield employees participate in many events to support nonprofit organizations such as the Tour de Cure bike ride for the American Diabetes Association, the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk, and the OC Walk to Remember benefitting Forever Footprints.
