Billing Information

Parkview Community Hospital is committed to fulfilling our mission and purpose to provide comprehensive, high-quality, cost-effective health care services. In order to ensure the success of this commitment, we must be financially responsible. The hospital's goal is to receive payment for services rendered in a timely, efficient, patient-friendly manner. As a courtesy to our patients, Parkview Community Hospital bills the insurance carrier directly for most services, and financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

It is the patient's responsibility to know insurance eligibility and benefits. If you provide insurance information at the time of registration:

The information will be verified for patient demographics (e.g. address, date of birth, telephone #)
Insurance coverage verification will be obtained at the time of service.
While your insurance company is processing your claim, you may receive a statement letting you know the status of your account.
Parkview Community Hospital will send you a statement for any patient responsibility not covered by your insurance such as deductible, co-payment, co-insurance, non-covered charges, denied services, etc.

Parkview Community Hospital accepts most major credit cards, cash and personal checks.

Other bills you may receive

In addition to your hospital bill, you may receive a separate bill for professional services from the emergency department physician, pathologist, radiologist, or any other physician involved in your care while a patient at the hospital.
