Breast Feeding Support

Parkview's bestBeginnings department promotes and supports breastfeeding. Studies have shown that newborns who are breastfed receive more health benefits than those who are only formula-fed. Breastfeeding can better protect your baby from infections (diarrhea, respiratory infections, etc.) and can boost baby's antibody level. Overall, mother's milk is top quality nourishment.

Our Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants are available to educate and assist you with breastfeeding and answer any questions you may have. In-person consultations are not available at this time, but we're always happy to assist by phone.

We also offer free monthly classes for breastfeeding moms via Zoom. Register by clicking on the Classes and Events tab, then select Classes.
