There have been many studies that link eating breakfast to overall good health including better memory and concentration, lower levels of cholesterol as well as reducing the chances of getting diabetes and heart disease.

However, we know that it can sometimes be hard to have a good breakfast, especially for individuals who are always rushing in the morning. That is why we whip up three of our quick and easy breakfast recipes to help you start and hopefully, keep a good breakfast habit.

Healthy Breakfast Wrap

This breakfast wrap is healthy, delicious and will only take you about 15 minutes or less to make. Pair it with a refreshing glass of orange juice or iced coffee and we can assure you that you will be filled even during your long morning meetings.

You will need:

1 egg
1 egg white
2 tbsp. cilantro leaves, chopped
¼ tsp. chili powder
1 large whole grain tortilla
¼ cup cherry tomatoes
1 ripe avocado
Salt and pepper to taste
Whisk together the first four ingredients. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. In a skillet, cook egg mixture for three minutes or until almost set while stirring frequently.

Slice the cherry tomatoes horizontally and set aside.

Slice open the avocado and take out the flesh. Set aside.

Heat the tortilla for 30 seconds on high in a microwave. Make sure to cover the tortilla with a damp paper towel to prevent it from dehydrating.

Place the cooked eggs on the tortilla. Add the tomatoes and avocado. Wrap it up and enjoy!

3-Ingredient Nutty Banana Pancake

This healthier version of everybody's favorite breakfast food is very easy to make, especially with only three ingredients. You can adjust this recipe according to your liking and add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg, but we can assure you that this is already amazingly good on its own.

You will need:

1 banana
2 eggs
Almond butter
Peel the banana and slice into small pieces. Put the small pieces of banana into a bowl and mash them using a fork until smooth. Add the two eggs and whisk.

Pour or scoop the banana-egg batter onto a nonstick pan or griddle and cook for about one to two minutes or when the surface is already starting to bubble. Flip the pancake to cook the other side.

Place the pancake on a large plate. Spread some almond butter on top depending on how much you want and serve.
