Two AHMC Hospitals Among 50 Hospitals with Lowest Heart Failure Mortality Rates

Becker’s Hospital Review reports that two AHMC hospitals, Garfield Medical Center and San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, are among the 50 hospitals with the lowest heart failure mortality rates.

Data was pulled from Hospital Compare and is from July 2012 through June 2015, the most recent data available.

All the hospitals on this list have a 30-day mortality rate from heart failure of 8.9 percent or less. For reference, the national average is 12.2 percent.
